How to Set Up Your Teleseminar

Setting up your teleseminar doesn't have to be hard! There are a few different options you can go with, depending on your needs and preferences. After you run your first teleseminar, it will be a breeze to do more.

The first step is to have a way for many people to be in on your call. One option is to use what is called a teleconferencing bridge line. If you're more interested in hosting a webinar (which is what a lot of Internet marketers choose these days since you can show your computer screen to the participants) you might use something called Hot Conference or GoToWebinar. These are great services that offer very inclusive packages. It's even possible for the attendees to chat with one another during your session, adding to the interactivity.

If you're hosting a standard teleconference, know that it is sometimes not enough to just record the session on your computer. You might only be able to pick up your own voice clearly rather than those of your guests. There are outside services that can record for you, such as Audio Acrobat.

After you've decided what service you're going to host your teleseminar or webinar through, you'll want to prepare yourself. This means getting organized and deciding on the format and flow of the show. You might feel like you want to just wing it -- and some marketers do -- but it's not recommended, at least on your first one! Nothing is worse than having silence or fluttering your papers around while trying to establish your expertise in a marketplace!

Keep in mind that you will definitely want to make sure you record the call! It's unfortunate, but some have gone through their entire teleseminar, felt great about it afterward, and then realized that they hadn't recorded it. Put a sticky note on your computer to remind yourself so this is not an issue for you.

There are a few different reasons why you'll want to make sure you record the call. First, it's a good thing to make available to people who were interested but could not attend. People have very busy schedules these days, and they will be thrilled to still be able to access your content. That means good things for you, because they still get to hear what you have to say. More people hearing what you have to say can increase your sales!

Another reason is because you might package the call into a product at a later date. People often want to purchase interviews with experts if they contain good information. After you've done a few of these teleseminars, you've now got a product that can be a good bonus, free download for opting in to your autoresponder, or stand alone product.

Setting up your teleseminar is a matter of choosing the method you want to use and organizing yourself. Once again, it's easy to do once you've done it the first time!
