Getting Started With Hosted Blogger.com

Blogger.com is probably the best hosted option for those who want to make money with a free blogging option. That's partially because Blogger is more lenient than Wordpress.com when it comes to allowing for monetization, among other reasons.

Getting started with Blogger requires having a Google account. This account will tie everything together for you; including your Gmail, Adsense, Adwords, and so on. You can go to Blogger.com, and sign up to start your own blog very easily. If you do not already have a Google account, you will be asked to create one. If you already have one, you'll find that it is no hassle at all to start your new blog!

You'll sign into Blogger, choose a display name (in case you don't want people to see your actual name), and a blog address. Then, you'll choose your blog's template. It's really as easy as that! You can start blogging once you've gone through these steps. You can add posts, change settings, choose your layout, and use the already included monetization options. As was already mentioned, Blogger is generally very marketer friendly.

Their system is also very easy to use. The chances are very good that you'll never feel "stuck" when you blog with Blogger. It's definitely a good option for many people out there. Keep in mind that you will still not have as much control over what happens to your blog as you would have with a self-hosted option. Still, many people consider Blogger to be the way to go when you want to be able to start a blog with affiliate products, CPA offers, and Adsense.

Be sure to fully explore the backend of Blogger and take advantage of their help section should you have any questions. It's very easy to use, in general, so don't expect there to be a huge learning curve! If you do decide to move to a self-hosted option in the future, you will have a slight learning curve to figuring out the Wordpress script instead (which is really the only benefit to using Wordpress.com instead of Blogger). Don't let that discourage you, however, since this is truly a great option.

If you're stuck on which hosted blogging platform to go with, you really can't go wrong with Blogger!
